The November 5th, 2024 General Election is just around the corner, and your voice matters now more than ever! Make sure you're prepared to cast your vote and help shape the future of our community. This page will guide you through everything you need to know about how and where to vote in Fairbanks for the upcoming election.

Early Voting is Currently Underway: October 21st-November 4th

    • Region III Elections Office, State of Alaska Regional Office

      • Monday-Friday: October 21-November 4th – 8AM to 5PM

      • Saturday: October 26-November 2 – 10AM to 4PM

      • Sunday: October 27-November 3 – 12PM to 4PM

      • Tuesday, Election Day: November 5 – 7AM to 8PM

Key Election Dates:

  • Election Day: Tuesday, November 5, 2024

  • Voter Registration Deadline: October 6, 2024 – Make sure you're registered to vote by this date to participate in the election. You can register online, in person, or by mail via the Alaska Division of Elections website.

  • Early Voting and In-Person Absentee: October 1-November 4, 2024 – Whether you're voting absentee by mail or in person during early voting, make sure to mark your calendar. Learn More here.

How and Where to Vote:

1. Vote on Election Day – November 5, 2024:
Polling locations will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM across Fairbanks. You can find your polling place using the
Alaska Division of Elections Polling Place Finder. Make sure to bring a valid ID to the polls.

2. Vote Early (October 21 – November 4):
Can't make it to the polls on Election Day? No problem! Early voting is available at various locations in Fairbanks starting October 21. This is a great option if you want to avoid the lines or if you have scheduling conflicts on November 5.

3. Vote Absentee by Mail:
Request your absentee ballot by visiting the
Alaska Absentee Ballot Application Portal or contacting your local election office. Make sure to send in your completed ballot before Election Day to ensure your vote is counted.
